Thank you. I spend a lot of my 'free time' in there. I take walks in the parks and woods with a small canvas bag that I can carry over my shoulder to go looking/collecting things that I can use for my little places. A lot of the time, I'll pick up something that looks interesting but not useful for what I'm working on at that time, but more than once those bits and bobs have started a whole new cottage concept. Besides...it's fun. Thanks again.

Only in my imagination, which just happens to be the same place I go when I visit them in these cottages. I'm hoping to get the next one up soon. It's a bit different...it's a shanty in the bayou, but still sized for the little folk. After all, who's to say they don't have voodoo types too? And you are most welcome for the llama. It's the first one I've given and you earned it. If you like, you might enjoy going to my daughter's sites. They are a bit more goth than I am, so be forewarned. :) It's *greywriter and *skyturtle. The first is 25 y.o. and the second is 14 y.o. I like to promote them when I can. They are quite talented, if I do say so myself. Thanks again, I love your work and would love to get some sort of price list from you, if you have one. I would love to actually own a piece of your work some day. Have an enchanted day. BJ

I am sorry but I must be doing something wrong, I tried to find your daughter's DA sites but came up empty. I am new to this site stuff so please forgive me, but I will keep trying but you might have to walk me through the process. Yes I do have a price list I sell on Etsy-Deviant just go to my home page the link should be there, I hope!

Okay, I had to go ask because I am what my kids refer to as a 'techno-peasant' myself. They said go to the address bar at the top of your page and do not put in www. just greywriter.deviantart.com or skyturtle.deviantart.com Hope that works, now I'm off to check out your Etsy-Deviant page. Can't wait! :) (Fingers crossed, I AM a techno-peasant, after all).

You're most welcome. I made it to your shoppe, sigh. You are now all over my Xmas wish list. :) Very reasonable prices, as well, for what I can only guess is a LOT of time and effort. I won't say 'work' because I believe that, like me, these pieces are too much fun and too close to your heart to be considered work. Talk to you again soon.

I am glad to hear you made it to my shop. Yes, they do take time, it all depends on the size of the piece and the amount of detail I can put into it. Some take months and some a few week or so, again all depends on how big the piece is and the detail involved. I do enjoy doing them so far, but I am starting to get orders for Christmas and have little stock left already. In the last three days, I have sold 6. but those were walk ins. I did have a women today interested in one on the Etsy DA site and a phone order from a guy in IL. Oh by the way, I checked out both of your kids sites, and both have great writing ability and a huge imagination, which is all good if put in the proper place. Till later

I not only made it to your shop, you've inspired me to open one for us...thank you. Sounds like it's time to go take a walk in the woods for more stock. For me, that can be the best part because I sometimes find something that I never thought of using before that fits perfectly into some new concept I've been thinking about. But it sounds like you only thought you were retired. In this economy, busy is good, albeit hectic. I'll wait to decide what I want from your line until things aren't quite so busy...for both of us. My little houses started as gifts for family/friends for Christmas and, just between you and me, the one on our page is the first one I've ever made. I hope to get better with more practice. Thanks for checking out my girls' sites. They are pretty good, if I do say so myself. This month is NANOWRIMO, which stands for National Novel Writing Month. Every November this group challenges writers to write 50,000 words by the end of the month. It doesn't have to be publisher ready or anything and there are no prizes, it's just a way of inspiring each other. It gets a bit crazy around here during that time, though. This is the first year my 14 y.o. has tried the full 50,000 so we'll see how that goes. Anyway, this is getting close to that many words itself. I'll let you go now. I enjoy talking to you. Hope to do it again soon. Take care, stay busy but have fun, otherwise there's no reason to do it.
